Designed by Buontalenti at the end of the sixteenth century, it is a fortified villa on a hill overlooking the city: from its standpoint one can enjoy one of the best views of Florence.

Forte di Belvedere Card: available at the Forte di Belvedere ticket office and reserved for residents in the metropolitan area of Florence. It costs €2.00 and must be exhibited with an identity document. It gives unlimited admission to Forte di Belvedere from 2 June to 1 October 2017.
Presentation of an admission ticket to one of the museums of the “Ytalia” exhibition allows for a reduced ticket to Forte di Belvedere. Likewise, the Forte di Belvedere card allows for a reduced ticket for the Florentine Civic Museums (Palazzo Vecchio, Novecento Museum, Stefano Bardini Museum, Brancacci Chapel, Fondazione Salvatore Romano).
Firenze Card: all the exhibition sites form part of the Firenze Card circuit.

From 18 July through 1 October, a new ATAF bus will be making 15 double runs per day from Tuesday through Sunday  – one every 30 minutes from  10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  One terminus is in Piazza Pitti, the other at Forte Belvedere. The new Fb line intends to offer a service to Florentines and tourists interested in seeing the  Ytalia. Energia Pensiero Bellezza exhibition at Forte Belvedere (until 1 October) and the Lloyd. Paesaggi toscani del Novecento exhibition opening on 14 July at Villa Bardini. The inauguration of the Fb line is scheduled for 18 July at 8:30 a.m. at the Piazza Pitti terminus, presided by Florence’s Mayor Dario Nardella and Umberto Tombari, President of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze.
